Basement and Storage Spaces

This is a little nook on the way down to the basement.

Warning: Man Cave Ahead

This is going to be the office area. We need a rug and we left the chair at the parentals.

It flows into another living space.

We are going to paint these built-ins white to go with the rest of the trim in the house. This is a spring break project for me. There is built in surround sound, but we have to hook up the new receiver we got. That's on the honey-do list.

We finally have a place for all of that Razorback stuff!

I'm not sure what to do with that plain space above the fireplace. Ideas?

This is the "Get crunk and do crafts room." Dustin's shot glasses are in this basement closet, along with my crafty, wrapping stuff.

This little nook is a cedar closet that is in our guest bathroom. It is huge. Not quite sure what to do with it! Right now, I've got my wedding dress and the cat liter in there. Those are two things that should be stored together, right?

This is the hall closet underneath the loft stairs. Our house is actually 3 levels, with the master bedroom being upstairs. The stairs you saw above were down to the basement. Again, this closet is pretty deep. I'm very impressed with the storage in this old house.

I love how Rudy tries to get in every picture, kind of like his brother Duke.

In addition to all of these nooks and crannies, there is also a 2 car garage and 2 car carport, and the whole attic floor of the garage is floored. This kind of storage in an older home is just unheard of, and was definitely a selling point to this house.
