Surprise, Surprise!

 No, I'm not pregnant! 

We went to the lake last weekend! We drove the easy drive of 45 minutes we have now to Lake Ouachita from our house. Corky and Debbie wanted to do things a bit different this time because of how hot it's getting (isn't it funny how we think it's getting hotter every year, but we're really just getting older?) We went out on the water at 9:30 and stayed out til 1:30. The lake was like glass at that time, and the temperature was wonderful. We drove in to Hot Springs for lunch at Cajun Boilers (best shrimp EVER) and went back out on the water from 7:00-10:00, hence the beautiful sunset.

Oh, the life. Debbie and I kept saying how lucky mom and Johnny are to be able to look at this every night. We're jealous.

Debbie and Gabby, who got to go out because it was cooler. Otherwise it's too hot, and Gabby just can't get that gorgeous-gotta-be-groomed hair wet.
