"Honey Do"

We've been in our new house for almost 3 months now, and a lot of work has been done considering this last weekend was only our 2nd weekend home in 3 months. Dustin has been super busy cleaning up the yard. Corky came in town this weekend to help Dustin water seal our fence so it won't look gray by the end of the year. While they were at it, they also put fresh mulch down and power washed the siding. Our house is now sparkling (from the outside at least)!

The next 3 pictures are from two weeks before we moved into the house. We went over the house (before it was even ours) to mow the yard and pull up all of the cane that was growing in the back yard. We picked up more rocks that day than we ever have in our lives. These 3 pictures were taken after we'd been working for 2 hours and they make the yard seem like it was halfway decent. 

This is after Dustin had to weed-eat the whole backyard, then mow the grass because it was so high. We also couldn't mow until we picked up all the rocks, sticks, and cane! We perspired a lot that day!

Oh, and mom and Johnny gave us their old (I say old, but it's pretty darn new) couch since they ordered a new one for their house. I was so excited to get this because a sectional is just what I wanted. We sold our old coffee table and end tables and bought this ottoman coffee table with our profits! It matches perfectly! I do not know what to do with that wall by the lamp. It scares me. Any suggestions???

We ended this long day eating some good ole grilled shrimp on our new couch and ottoman! Yay!
