Bark in the Park!

Two baseball games in one week? Yes sir-ree! Last Thursday was Bark in the Park at Dickey Stephens. The Travs threw a no-hitter, but I have to admit I didn't watch one play. Who can watch baseball when there are hundreds, literally, hundreds of dogs around? Certainly not me with my ADHD! I had died and gone to heaven!!!

Duke had a blast, too. He met lots of new friends!! He also met some kinfolk! He was quite the hit. Lots of people oohed and ahhed when they saw him and he was happy to give them a lick. He was pooped by the end of the night! Just like a tired child, the minute we put him in the car, he was out! He didn't move an inch on the way home and happily went in his crate to go nite-nite!

Here's our family portrait.
Duke's kinfolk. The black Dane is only 6 months old. That'll be Duke in 5 weeks!

I'm getting peepy, mom...

The big dog prize of the night did not go to a Great Dane. Check out this Irish Wolf Hound. Geez!
Dustin NEVER wants to take pictures, especially in public. The two family portraits we got that night were his idea. Go figure! Guess he's not proud of me enough to show me off!
The BAJA men played after the game (you know...Who let the dogs out? WhoWhoWhoWho!), but it was already 10:15 and we were ready to git! It was a school night! We still had such a good time. Hope Bark in the Park becomes an annual gig!
